Dear Parents and Nurses,

This letter is to inform you that Professional Nursing Services, along with several other leading providers of in-home healthcare, is taking an initiative to petition the State of Maryland for a Maryland Medicaid Fee increase.

The cost of living is estimated to increase at least 3% each year, yet since 2006 the Maryland Medicaid Fee has only increased a total of 7.9% ($2.52). This puts agencies like us at a disadvantage in the already competitive market. We are asking you to support this change because it would allow us to both pay our nurses a higher rate, while also making it easier to fill the scheduling needs of our patients.

We need to act now and are asking for your help by signing this online petition and passing this information along to your fellow nurses, parents, or friends. The link for the petition is provided below.
